World of Work ? Youth, Skills & Income

Dear Reader,

The demographic dividend is not a given. It is an opportunity.

Today, there are 1.8 billion young people in the world, representing an immense source of innovation and staggering human potential. But far too many are trapped in a cycle of poverty, with limited opportunities to learn and to earn a decent living.

Investing in youth is high up on our agenda here at Helvetas. We work toward this goal by developing labour market skills and promoting job creation in a variety of ways. We hope you?ll take the time to learn more about these initiatives.

We would love to hear about your experiences in the field, and to collaborate for a better future!
